Express yourself through art
Carry Your Colours is a creative tote bag painting workshop where art meets self-expression. Inspired by the ART WELL international training course implemented by EMINA Foundation in June 2026, this local activity invites participants to explore creativity, mindfulness and well-being in a relaxed and welcoming environment.
Whether you are an experienced artist or have never held a paintbrush before, this workshop is designed for everyone. Together, we will transform plain cotton tote bags into unique, hand-painted creations that reflect our personalities, values and imagination.
What to expect
During the workshop, participants will:
- create and decorate their own reusable tote bag using textile paints;
- experiment with colours, patterns and artistic techniques;
- discover how creative activities can support mental well-being and self-expression;
- meet new people in an inspiring and inclusive atmosphere;
- take home a unique artwork that can be used every day.
All materials will be provided, and no previous artistic experience is required.
Who can participate?
The workshop is open to everyone. Whether you are a student, professional, artist, traveller or simply looking for a creative afternoon, you are warmly welcome to join us.
About ART WELL
Carry Your Colours is organised as part of the local follow-up activities of the ART WELL Erasmus+ project co-funded by the Erasmus+ programme of the European Union, aiming to support youth mental health through artistic self-expression and inclusive local activities. The project promotes the use of art-based methods to support emotional well-being, resilience and personal development, while equipping youth workers and educators with creative tools they can use in their everyday practice.
