Smart Jobs: AI Solutions for Employability aims to modernise employability services across Europe by aligning vocational education and training with emerging labour market needs and laying the foundations for a common EU curriculum for employability professionals. The project develops an updated curriculum and competence framework in line with EU standards, alongside an AI-supported chatbot and micro-learning tools to assist job-seekers and new hires during the onboarding phase. In parallel, it designs and tests a targeted training programme for employability professionals and employers responsible for onboarding, strengthening their digital competences and practical capacities. Through structured project management, quality assurance, and strong communication and dissemination at local, national, and EU levels, Smart Jobs delivers tested and transferable results in Hungary, Italy, and the Netherlands.
Objectives
Smart Jobs contributes to:
- Align the offer of Vocational Education and Training addressed to professionals in the field of employability services with the emerging labour market needs and define a basis for a common EU Curriculum;
- Propose a digital solution to help Employability Professionals in assisting job-seekers and new hires during the onboarding process;
- Develop training and methodologies for Employability Professionals and employers in charge of managing the onboarding of new hires.
Activities
Project activities include:
- Project management, monitoring and quality control;
- Development of an updated Curriculum and Competences Framework for professionals in employability services;
- Design and implementation of a Chatbot and micro-learning contents supporting new hires;
- Development of a Training Programme for Employability Professionals in line with the new Curriculum and focusing on the Chatbot;
- Communication and dissemination of the project at local, national and EU level.
Impact
- A common Curriculum and Competences Framework for Employability Professionals are developed in line with EU requirements and the European Qualification Framework
- Digital competences of Employability Professionals are upgraded thanks to the development of a Chatbot as an integrated collaborative AI solution supporting new hires during the onboarding phase
- A Training Programme addressed to Employability Professionals is developed, tested and assessed in the target countries (Hungary, Italy, and the Netherlands)
